Terms of Service
Draft pilot version. Last reviewed: 2026-10-20.
1. The service
Nerd Post, operated by Charlie’s Nerds, lets an invited business connect its own social accounts and publish posts that an authorized person has approved. It is offered as a limited pilot, by invitation, and may change or end.
2. Eligibility and accounts
Access is granted by Nerds. Your business is responsible for authenticating its own people in its dashboard and for keeping its Nerd Post credentials and signing key secret. Nerds may pause or deactivate a business or person at any time, including for security or misuse.
3. Your accounts and content
You keep ownership of your social accounts and content. You confirm that you are authorized to connect each account and to publish the content you approve, and that your content complies with the law and with each platform’s rules.
4. Approval
Nerd Post sends content only after your website sends a digitally signed approval for the exact version, destination and action. Your business is responsible for ensuring that only people authorized by you can trigger an approval in your dashboard and that your dashboard shows them exactly what will be sent. Nerd Post relies on your signed approval and does not independently verify that a person clicked. Changing the content, media, account or action cancels the approval. The credential used to propose posts cannot approve them.
5. Platforms
Use of Facebook, Instagram and TikTok is also subject to their terms. Availability depends on those platforms and their approval processes; Nerd Post does not guarantee that any platform feature is available or that a post will be accepted. TikTok drafts placed in your inbox are not published posts.
6. Disconnecting
You may disconnect at any time. Doing so stops future sends and deletes stored tokens.
7. Acceptable use
No unlawful, deceptive, infringing or abusive content; no spam or unsolicited messaging; no attempts to bypass limits, security or approval controls.
8. Limits
The pilot enforces rate and usage limits, and Nerds may pause publishing platform-wide. The service is provided “as is” during the pilot, without warranties, to the extent permitted by law. Liability terms will be confirmed by the contracting entity before general availability.
9. Privacy and deletion
See the Privacy Policy and data deletion instructions.
